Responsibilities of NTCNA Committees

The Membership Committee

1. Manage membership information of members.

2. Assist members with consultation and care in practice related issues.

3. Sponsor awards and presentation related matters.

4. Maintain and promote the rights and privileges of members.

5. Strengthen NTCNA matters related to the organization and functions.

 

The Welfare Committee

1. Execute and enhance NTCNA membership benefits.

2. Facilitate communications and interactions between members and organizations.

3. Provide emergency assistance to members.

4. Lead NTCNA participation in social service activities.

 

The Academic Committee

1. Plan and implement continuing education for nursing personnel and help members acquire credits from continuing education.

2. Conduct academic seminars to upgrade the professional knowledge of members.

3. Implement leaders and registered nurses workshop to promote experience exchange between peers.

4. Sponsor nurse leader seminars to inspire creativity, thinking and promotion of organizational exchange.

5. Implement health-authority-mandated academic seminars.

 

The Research and Development Committee

1. Recognize and reward worthy innovations in nursing to promote nurses’ professional capabilities.

2. Conduct presentations of nursing accomplishments to encourage exchanges of experiences.

3. Upgrade practical and innovative competency in nursing personnel.

4. Provide NTCNA newsletters and publish on the website.

 

The Public Affairs and Long Term Care Committee

1. Enhance communications with government organizations, other medical or related associations, and establish excellent cooperation.

2. Sponsor international exchanges of nursing affairs.

3. Review grand applications for participating in international conferences.

4. Organize and implement international scholar / expert visits to Taiwan to participate in nursing related activities.

5. Participate in long-term care related policies with enthusiasm.

6. Prepare and amend NTCNA profiles.

 

The Financial Committee

1. Review and audit the annual budget.

2. Audit budget execution.

3. Audit financial statements, expenses, and receipts.

4. Review and make recommendations related to NTCNA,s financial status.

5. Manage NTCNA assets.

6. Administer NTCNA human resources.

7. Execute other instructions given by the board of directors or controllers.
